Átila Mellilo, President and CEO
Átila Mellilo brings more than 16 years of technology development expertise to Scali, having held senior positions with key enterprise software organizations. Prior to joining Scali, Atila was CTO of the banking software division of TietoEnator, Scandinavia’s second largest integrator and consulting company, where he helped position the company’s technology within many of Europe’s largest banks and financial institutions. Atila has been instrumental in the development of many successful start-up technology companies, having demonstrated a track record in bringing those technologies into maturity. Earlier in his career, he worked as a consulting manager and software developer for IBM, where he worked with database technologies in the banking and finance industries.

Håkon O. Bugge, Founder and CTO
Håkon Ording Bugge is a founding member of Scali AS. Håkon received his MSc from the University of Oslo in 1985 and subsequently joined the research and development department at Norsk Data where he worked on the development of advanced CPU architecture. In 1989, Håkon joined Dolphin Server Technology where he was a central engineer in the development of the superscalar RISC CPU. Håkon was senior system architect responsible for the SCI development team at Dolphin Interconnect Solutions, which was formed in 1992. In 1994, Håkon joined Kongsberg Informasjonskontroll where he drove the development of the cluster technology, which today is the foundation of Scali's advanced solutions. Håkon has been published in several international journals and conference proceedings, and has worked as a part-time lecturer in computer architecture at the University Graduate Center (UniK), Kjeller, Norway.

Rolf Welde Skeie, Vice President of Engineering
Rolf Welde Skeie is responsible for Scali's engineering division, including research, development, and technical support.   After graduating from the University of Stavanger he joined the Norwegian Defense Research Establishment in 1990 developing specialized image processing hardware using FPGAs and generic image processing hardware and software using Transputer multiprocessor machines.  He joined Kongsberg Informasjonskontroll in 1194 developing VME and SBus interfaces and communication software for the Cesar vector processor.  Rolf was part of the original team when Scali was established in 1997, pioneering the Scali Manage product.   In 2000, he joined WhiteBird as a development manager of ASP solutions before rejoining Scali in 2001 to establish the presence of Scali in the US.   In 2003 Rolf moved back to Norway and has since held several key positions in the engineering division.

Rob Secontine, Vice President of Sales
Rob Secontine is the Vice President of Sales at Scali. He has a strong history of building and growing sales organizations in multiple high technology domains. Prior to joining Scali, Rob was vice president at Ecora Software, a change and configuration management and reporting solutions provider, where he managed and grew a sales organization which led Ecora to be named to the Deliotte Technology Fast 500 and Fast 50 New England, as well as becoming recognized as a Software 500 firm in 2005. Prior to Ecora, he served as vice president of operations - North America, for InfoCyclone. Rob has also served as vice president, sales for Vi{z}RT, which had a successful IPO in 1999. Prior to that, Rob served as vice president of sales for Indigo America. Rob graduated from Marquette University, in Milwaukee WI.

Dan Caldwell, Vice President of Channel Sales, Worldwide
Dan Caldwell has recently been promoted to Vice President of Channel Sales, Worldwide.   Caldwell's career is highlighted by a successful track record in OEM sales and IP licensing at Virage Logic, Phoenix Technologies, Novell and Banyan Systems.  Caldwell engaged in enterprise OEM software sales at AT&T Unix Systems Labs, driving sales through leading technology vendors including HP, Microsoft, SCO, IBM, Sun, EMC, and SGI.  Dan has a degree in Electrical Engineering from Northern Illinois University and began his career as a microprocessor design engineer at Intel.
